Dr. Antony Paul was the chief guest. Children presented several cultural programs emphasizing the unity and plural characters of India. Leading freedom fighters from Tamil Nadu were remembered. Winners from the inter-school competitions organised by the Tamil Nadu Progressive Writers Association were awarded with prize and shield.  Pallotti Students won majority of the prizes.
